We skipped the Festbier train this year. Like, Japan just isn’t there yet. But man were we thirsty. So we got a little selfish and set aside a jacketed stainless wonder to roll super crispi liquid elixirs. Can you say Czech Pils Paradise? Some of this was timing (can’t make too many #clearbeer and crispi goodies right now, must…make…hazies /shrug), but mostly it was waiting for Ced (our resident French dude) to get his cookbook in proper order. Pushing trad style with just enough Saaz hops to satiate his monstrous appetite, Crispi Boi (sexy white working shoes kgo) has just the right amount of lemongrass / herbal nuance, a touch of lemon / banana on the nose and a super light body to accentuate hop bitterness and max out the Crispiness Quotient. Yes that’s a thing.
